Wow, another summer gone! We had one of the best summers ever!! Great weather, loads of tourists and lots of outdoor play time. We are so happy that we can fi nally get back to what we like to do the most, quilting!! We have a great lineup of classes planned for this Fall and we can’t wait to see all of our local quilters back in the store again. Our Open House will be held on October 3rd from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. All of our classes will be available for sign- ups that day, but you are always welcome to come in before that date and sign up. As always, you will receive a discount of 20% for any purchases related to a class you have signed up for. If you purchase a set that includes a rotary cutter, mat and ruler, you will also receive a 20% discount. We also have some fun classes that will involve “dining” and sewing, with the introduction of Jean’s series of four lunch or dinner classes. There will be a FREE class offered during the Open House. From 1-5 p.m. Cathy will be teaching how to make a Grab Bag. All the information you need is in the class description. This class may fi ll up fast, so sign up early. Notice that most evening classes are being held at 5:30 instead of 5:00 with the exception of Jeans classes that offer dinner. We are doing this so you have enough time to leave work, have a bite to eat and then come to class, or bring your meal and eat before class.

FABRIC SALE SATURDAY, OCTOBER 3 - 20% OFF ALL YOUR FABRIC PURCHASES

MAJOR COMPUTER GLITCH - Dena’s computer rebelled during the summer and dropped all of the Silver Thimble emails and/or addresses. Most have been recovered, but there are still some out there that are needed. If you are not receiving the newsletter by email and would like to do so, please email dena@kpunet.net and ask to be added to the list. You may also sign up on the list at the store. If you know of someone not receiving the newsletter and think they may be interested, please let us know their name as well. From time to time we send out last minute notices on sales and new classes. The only way we can do this is to send out emails, so please pass those on to us.
